Our family has been in business for over 45 yrs. Started when our grandparents came over from Sicily. Our uncle at the time already had a restaurant and my grandparents started working for him since they didn't speak English. My mother at 8yrs old always knew she loved to cook, she used to watch my grandmother and used to love to help her make the sauce and fresh ravioli. My mother grew up and got married to my father, who also came over from Sicily and since he didn't speak English, he got stuck making pizza, which has since been passed down. After many years my parents finally branched out on their own, they had me and my sister. We were both raised in the restaurant life with our parents. We loved it, we didn't know any better and we still managed to have a great childhood, creating houses with the pizza box, hide and seek in the dining room was our favorite, sleeping in the shelves as if we were in the army, and eating the best food ever every day. We grew up and now are starting families of our own. Also married Italian Citizens and brought them to the U.S just like mom did. My sister and I both went to college to get out of this business, but then we asked ourselves why? This is what we know and love to do. This is where we belong. The restaurant and hospitality business is our future. We hope you enjoy your experience here at our La Forchetta.

We have just had awonderful meal with wonderful wait staff. La Forchetta is a hidden gem for visitors but it appears well known to the local population. We ate outside with Connie as our waitress who excelled in her personality as well as her knowledge of the menu.
While we waited for our meal, we witnessed a constant flow of visitors with reservations (which we recommend) as well as picking up to go orders.
Our meal was served piping hot and delicious. We highly recommend La Forchetta to all!
No exaggeration here. We were visiting from Denver and the hotel we were staying at was next door. We arrived around 7:30 pm and noticed the parking lot was packed. We waited for almost an hour but it was well worth it. While we were waiting they took our drink order and the wine pours were very generous. After half a glass, the wait didn't seem nearly as long. The food was freshly made and the portions could have easily been shared.
First time experience at this restaurant but it won’t be our last. Had Frank as our waiter who was wonderful-great personality and made delicious recommendations. We started with the large Calamari appetizer which was fantastic and followed it by the Saffron Risotto for my husband and the lobster ravioli for me. SO much food we had left overs the next night (which tasted perhaps even better as the flavors were so robust). We will definitely be back. Be sure to make reservations.
